Message
"Thirsting for God"........................................................................................................................Psalm 2
We were physically made that we can go longer without food than water. Ref: John 4:5-26 Jesus at Jacob's
well sat at the well to rest from his journey. A lady comes to get water. He talks to her about His living water
of everlasting life. She wants it to make life easier for her. Jesus revealed to her what her desire was. He
knows about our fruitless searches. Luke 16:19-31 A rich man tried to quench his thirst with wealth and success.
He lost his health and died. Fleshly desires and his lack of faith in God sent him to hell.
Jesus thirsted on the cross. He died so we do not have to be unsatisfied with life.
Revelation 22:17 Let him that is thirsty come to Jesus.
Blood - The blood of Jesus announced forgiveness of sin.
Water - Living water offered was freely announced.
