"Changing Lives"................................................................1 Timothy 1:15-16
Sometimes we have to pray that our passion for lost souls is renewed. We could all put -our name- of others
as a chief sinner. Acts 9 (Saul's conversion to Paul), Paul had an argument for himself as a chief sinner. Christ has the
power to change lives. Life won't always be easy, life won't always be problem free. Knowing God makes a big difference.
Are you satisfied with your life? Who is Jesus to you? Do you believe in Heaven and Hell? If you died right now do you believe
you would go to Heaven? If what you believe was not true would you want to know it? If what you believe satisfies your
requirements you usually stick with that. In witnessing: Show John 14:6, Romans 3:26, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9-11,
as references. Ref: Revelation 3:20
You can help start a temporary change in a person. Only God can make it permanent (We can't change in the
long-term without God). Ask the one you are witnessing to if they are a sinner. Ask if they want forgiveness. Ask
if they believe Jesus died on the cross. Pray a prayer of forgiveness and salvation with them.
Satan uses distraction and discouragement to pull us away from God. We have to be persistant, keep trying, to defeat
the adversary. Share a personal testimony with the one you are speaking to. Your own convictions must exist for
you to share Jesus: Do you truly believe a person is lost without Jesus? Failure to share our faith is a sin. We make
excuses as if our excuse was more important than Jesus. Rationalizing can stop us from going through with a plan.
Will we accept the challenge to share our faith? Goal: To have 70 people here regularly in two months. If we don't
want our church to grow we might want to question why we're here.
