"Secrets of Inner Peace"...................................................................................................................Philippians 4:4-9
Opening: A girl answered the door for her mom who was making lunch. "Mom can't answer the door, she is hitting the bottle.", she said.
It was a ketchup bottle with a lid stuck tight.
Most of us want to be content where we are. We want to rejoice in the Lord always. It is hard to rejoice in the Lord when you are
being pulled over by police for speeding while you are getting a flat tire.
We should not bottle up anger. Pray to God about it. Then we can show gentleness to people around us.
Proverbs 3:27 We are not what we think we are or what we think of what we are.
God wants us to reject negative critical thinking.
Psalm 139:23-24 says Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is
any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. We should give ourselves a spiritual MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
and find good things in our own head.
It is best to think of the best in others.
Hearts that are right with God live pure lives.
Be careful of what we input to our mind.
If Christ was to return now, what would He find you thinking?
Be content with whatever state you are in. (Philippians 4:11).
