     "Silencing the Enemy".............................................................................1 Peter 2:11-16
Abstain from fleshly lust. We are at war in our lives every day.
Be clean: Samson and David succumed to lusts. They were casualties of it.
1 Corinthians 10 God provided a way to win the war. We sometimes take Satan for granted. He is one who can destroy us. To silence the enemy we have to be clean. Be committed to Jesus Christ. Live a clean life.
Soldiers are trained to follow commands. God tells us to do the right thing and we do not always do it.
Be careful: People are watching us every day. Some of them are critics hoping we are defeated. Hoping we mess up. We should always welcome people to watch us (watch what we do). Matthew 5:16 Our light should shine to glorify Christ.
Be consistent: Peter calls us to submit to every ordinance of man. Acts 5:28-29 Only disregard laws that go against God. Obey God rather than man. We have liberty as servants of God>.
Challenge: Let people know you live a good clean life because you are a Christian. That would give God the glory and not just give it to yourself.
