   "Why Feel Guilty?"........................................................................................Psalm 32:3-5
We sometimes get a guilty feeling if someone unexpectedly wants to talk to you. Things run through your mind about what you did or what it might be about.
Psalm 32:3-5 - Guilty conscience can bring feelings of remorse. We may feel guilty because we are guilty.
Romans 3: 10-26 - We are all guilty of not seeking God and not doing good things. No one can live up to all that is in the law.
We may feel guilty until we confess and ask forgiveness for what we know we did.
Psalm 31:10 - Guilt can have a physical effect on you. We need the water of life that Christ provides...
Ex: Working in the heat we may know that we need a drink. If we're busy we don't want to stop. But you feel parched and need a drink.
Isaiah 53:5-6; 1 John 1:9; Revelation 5:9-10
All we have to do is accept God's offer of forgiveness. The grace of God is available. It's not forced on us by God.
1 Timothy 1:13-14 - Paul obtained mercy. He considered himself the Chief Sinner.
Psalm 51:1-19 - David prays for forgiveness (repentance). David knew what God wanted. He wants us to be sorry for our sins against him.
1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sin He is faithful to forgive.
Bring your sins to the one who died for sinners.
